Îndrăgostiții dramei Leiba Zibal (1931) | Scanare 4K Peliculă Neinflamabilă - Restaurare Digitală
Câteva cadre înainte și după restaurarea digitală la care am lucrat pentru filmul Leiba Zibal (1931), proiect al Arhivei Naționale de Filme. Aici o putem observa pe Maria, protagonista dramei, interpretată de actrița Tanzy Economu, de la Teatrul Național din București.
Aceste cadre aparțin ultimei secvențe din film, în momentul în care atât Leiba Zibal cât și Gheorghe, cei doi bărbați care se luptă pentru atenția Mariei, realizează că acest conflict a fost până la urmă în zadar, ea ajungând să se îndrăgostească de un al treilea pretendent.
Restaurarea a fost realizată pe imaginea scanată în 4K a peliculei neinflamabile, copie după originalului filmat pe peliculă de nitrat. Această secvență a prezentat inițial numeroase degradări chimice ale peliculei, cum ar fi mucegaiul, dar și defecte de ordin mecanic, ca rezultat al uzurii peliculei în timpul proiecției.
Lovers of the drama Leiba Zibal (1931) | 4K Safety Film Scan - Digital Restoration
A couple of before / after frames of the digital restoration I carried out for the film Leiba Zibal (1931), a project of the Romanian National Film Archives. Here we can see the female protagonist of the film, Maria, played by the actress Tanzy Economu, from the National Theater in Bucharest. This frame belongs to the last sequence in the film, when both Leiba Zibal and Gheorghe, the two men fighting for Maria's attention, realize that this conflict was ultimately in vain, as she fell in love with a third suitor.
The restored film is a 4K scan of the safety copy of the original nitrate film. This sequence initially showed numerous chemical degradations such as mold, but also mechanical damage, as a result of the wear during the film's projection and handling.
